Four Points by Sheraton Richmond

The room was clean, and the staff were really friendly. I liked the Midlothian location, close to everything and convenient for visiting family in Richmond. The pool was small and needed cleaning because tree leaves and pollen had fallen into it. Still, I'd definitely stay again.

Fork & Vine was a horrible experience for our group of nine on Mother's Day, and I wouldn't recommend it. Calling it a buffet doesn't seem right when you have to finish all the food the kitchen prepared before they bring another serving. Most things were empty, including juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, and waffle batter, and refills took forever. We asked repeatedly for water, waited 50 minutes, then got bottles ourselves. The food tasted below average, and the staff were rude and sarcastic. Instead of apologizing for the delay, they told us there were only two people and to wait. After all that, the cashier still had the nerve to ask for a tip.

We stayed overnight on 12/31/25 in a room with a king bed, and our experience was great. The restaurant breakfast, which we had to purchase, was very good. The room was clean, and we were surprised by the 70-inch TV, which we used to watch the Ohio State Football game. Dominique, the male receptionist who greeted us, was pleasant, helpful, neatly dressed, and professional. One note for the ladies: the room has only a shower, with the showerhead fixed to the wall.

The staff were nice when we raised it, but all they did was shrug and say, “Water is tepid again, huh. Sorry.” We were there with several families, and everyone had the same hot water problem across the hotel: cold showers Friday night, lukewarm water Saturday morning, then cold showers again Sunday morning.
