The room was basic, which is what you'd expect for the price, and there are lots of places to eat nearby. I had accidentally booked twice for a nonrefundable stay, and Ozey at the front desk was understanding and accommodating. The service was great. I'd recommend it if you're looking to save money on a basic room and want helpful staff.

You get what you pay for here, and I've stayed in much worse places, so this isn't a one-star stay for me. Still, the room looked fine at first, but there was mold, some outlets didn't work, and the walls barely blocked any sound. I could hear people talking and doing things all night. An exhaust system could have easily dealt with the mold. At least this room didn't have any bugs. Without the noise coming through the walls, I'd have given it three stars. There's not much else to say about the place.

Cleanliness, safety, and the food offered are basic parts of how I judge a hotel. Still, I have a rule against giving a place a lasting failing grade after just one visit. My reviews need to be credible, and fairness matters when someone's business and livelihood are involved. I won't permanently damage a business's reputation without giving it more than one try.

I knew this wasn't a luxury stay, but the way I was treated was disrespectful and rude. The first room had a broken curtain and dirty toilet seat. I asked to switch, and the next room had the TV off the wall and dirty sheets. I let that go because of the price, but the deposit issue was too much. They said my $100 deposit would be returned right away. More than 24 hours later, it still hadn't arrived. Calls kept disconnecting, so I had to contact another hotel in the chain just to reach someone. When I finally got through, staff were extremely rude. They told me to send an email and said they couldn't discuss the refund because I should have asked for a receipt, even though they never gave me one. Customer service eventually got my money back. When I called again, they hung up on me, and they hung up on my husband too when he tried. An awful experience. No one deserves that treatment, no matter how cheap the room is.
