We didn't stay even one night. The rooms smelled strongly unpleasant, and after checking a few of them, they were all dirty. Something was biting us, so I think the health department should inspect the place. The staff were rude and could barely speak or understand English. We had to book another hotel right away. This was a terrible experience, and I strongly don't recommend it if cleanliness and safety matter to you. Evidence is attached below. Do not stay here.

The place was filthy, with bedbugs in the beds and dirt and holes everywhere. The staff were incompetent, and nobody gave us a refund. I don't recommend it. We'll be contacting the CDC.

I usually leave bad reviews, but Travel inn & Suites earned five stars from me. It's the best 3 Star hotel to stay at in Richmond: clean rooms, quiet guests, a safe location, and great staff. I upgraded my room and extended my stay, even though I normally move around every three days on business. It also feels safe and friendly for families.

I felt unsafe and decided not to stay after a ten minute check-in interaction. I came with my elderly mother. At the “booth,” an older man just stared at me and ignored me while I spoke, and the woman was plain rude to both of us. I politely told her I was leaving so I wouldn't anger her more, and she demanded my ID and credit card before I could go. Completely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here, especially with kids. Staff need to do better. There are also constant mentions of bed bugs in other reviews.

They'll wake you and your whole work crew so you can get to the job on time, and if you're from out of town, you get special treatment. The Travel Inn on Midlothian trnpk is on the bus line and I felt safe there. My room was clean, there were no bed bugs, the Wi-Fi was strong, and they didn't rush me at checkout. A great choice if you're in Richmond for work.
