WoodSpring Suites Richmond West I-64

At WoodSpring suites 6900 W Broad St Richmond, VA RM 306, I dropped my vintage Engagement Ring down the bathroom sink. The front desk called Trevon from maintenance, and he had it out of the drain within 10 minutes. He was very polite and careful to clean up the water and debris from the pipe. I really appreciate how quickly he helped me. I’m so happy to have my ring back. Thank You, Trevon.

I’ve been staying here for a while, and the whole staff and accommodations are well put together. Trevon handles maintenance for every room and has done everything in a professional, friendly way. At the front desk, Shanita, Laquan, Ave, and Jo handle situations efficiently and professionally. They remember my name and use it when they see me, which helps me feel safe and comfortable. I’d like to give every employee credit for what they do, though my words alone wouldn’t be enough. I’ve recommended this location to at least one friend, who stays here now, and I’ll keep telling people to come if they need a place near stores, restaurants, and lots of other things. It’s also very convenient to the bus line.

The staff were very friendly, the only positive part of this stay. After driving 14 hours, my husband and I just needed a few hours of sleep. We were too exhausted to complain at the desk, but the room was horrible and completely unacceptable. It badly needs a deep clean, especially the bathroom, which was nasty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The mattress was the worst part. It looked visibly dirty and didn’t even have a mattress protector. We were afraid to sleep in the bed, so we stayed on top of it fully dressed in our hoodies and jackets instead of using the sheets. It felt unhygienic and uncomfortable.

The room was dirty and smelled like a dirty old man. The floor hadn’t been swept, nothing had been wiped down, and the bathroom was moldy and old. My one-year-old picked up a TRAZODONE pill from the floor and almost swallowed it. That shouldn’t have happened if the room had actually been cleaned. The Choice Hotels corporate number offered only 10k POINTS, and the hotel itself never answers the phone, sending me to voicemail each time. I believe I should get a refund.
