The hotel’s first-floor rooms with patios made our stay. They’re spacious, have sliding doors for easy access, and the private patios have tables and chairs for relaxing in the sun. That area was clean and well kept. I can’t recommend other floors or rooms as highly. The location and service were great too. We had a problem with our first room, but staff handled it quickly and courteously. The gentleman at check-in was professional and clearly cared about the hotel and its guests. The hot tub was out of service, which was a little disappointing, but the pool was open and pleasantly warm. It’s a decent size, with a cute kids’ pool, slide, and tree waterfall. The restaurant’s arcade was fun, though it closes around 10 PM. There are nearby spots for an easy walk, and the hotel also has a comedy club worth checking out. The hotel has had some renovations but still needs more updates. Our patio room was in good shape, though a broken bathroom light fixture left a noticeable gap. If you stay here, I’d strongly recommend booking a first-floor room with a patio.

The hotel was decent, and breakfast was good with plenty of options. The room could use some updates, like fixing dents, paint, and door trim. I’d also like more water pressure and taller toilets. We didn’t have time to try the pool or hot tub, but it’s nice that there’s a kids’ pool too. My only complaint is about the other guests, who were loud all night and left a mess in the breakfast area. That’s no reflection on the hotel or its staff.

The staff were great, and having a restaurant attached was a real plus. The lobby looks updated, but a few steps beyond it the place feels worn and ready for a full renovation. The carpet is newer, and the pool area is a little rough, though everything worked as it should. For two nights, the total was under $200 after fees and taxes, which seemed in line with the condition.

We were in town for a Mayo procedure and stayed before and after. With the blowing snow and brutal cold, it was such a relief to have the Crooked Pint Ale house attached. GreenMill To Go also let us order online and pick up inside the Crooked Pint, so we didn't have to go outside. The place was very clean and looked recently remodeled. They also offer a shuttle to Mayo and St Mary's, though we didn't use it. Breakfast was simple, the usual kind of food, but decent. A little lotion in the room would have been nice in that dry cold, though I could have asked for some. There are a pool, kiddy pool, and hot tub too. We'd stay again.
