We were traveling because of a family emergency and only needed somewhere to sleep and wash up before continuing our trip to say goodbye to our dying granddaughter. Otherwise, I would have demanded my money back and tried another motel. The bathroom smelled of feces, the bathtub was filthy, and bed bugs bit me so much that I barely slept. Neither the local management nor corporate offered compensation that felt suitable. Avoid this motel at all costs.

Nothing bad happened outside, and it was quiet overnight. Still, the exterior looked sketchy, and the atmosphere made me feel like something could happen. The room was average, maybe three stars, with no bugs and nothing special. The bathroom was fine but not worth photographing. I called ahead and got a reasonable rate, but at check-in they said I couldn’t earn reward points unless I booked online. That isn’t true, and the staff didn’t seem to know how to sort it out, so the whole thing felt a little dishonest. It’s okay if you’re arriving late, need a bed, and want somewhere just off the highway. I wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s your only option.
