I called after checking my card statement and finding an extra $100 charge for incidentals. I’d checked in after midnight and stayed less than 24 hours. The staff seemed friendly at first, but Daniel, who said he was the manager, told me the charge was for coffee spilled on the comforter. He said coffee would stain it when I asked why it couldn’t just be washed. I’ve never had this happen at another hotel, and I won’t stay with this chain again. It seemed like staff cared more about the trouble of cleaning the comforter than resolving this fairly. It also made me wonder how often comforters are actually cleaned unless they’re visibly soiled. When I got nowhere with the manager, I asked to make a formal complaint. He told me to do it online, but I needed details from the hotel folio, which I was never given. He said he’d send it when I asked, but it never arrived. He also hasn’t answered my follow-up calls in the past two weeks. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. There are plenty of other places nearby at similar prices that likely offer better service and transparency.

The rate was good, but I wouldn’t stay here again and can’t recommend it. The lobby looked updated, seemed new, and smelled nice. The elevator was old and dingy, though, and the hallway on the way to our room was truly gross, with stained walls and carpets that looked old and dirty. Our room was just as bad: smelly and dirty, with stained bedding and curtains. The furniture was sticky and chipped. It was a really bad experience.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. But the Wi-Fi was awful. I was there for two weeks with a renovation crew working on a nearby Taco Bell, and I bring my PC so I can relax and keep in touch with friends back home, several hours away. I was already feeling pretty low, and not being able to play with them the whole trip made it worse. I managed one night, using my phone as a hotspot, but it burned through my data after a few hours.

Everything else about the stay was good, but the bathroom cleaning was questionable. We wiped around the faucets and toilet with sanitizer wipes and got a lot of brown on them. It was hard to see otherwise. We also asked for extra towels, but they never came.

My daughter was booked here while her apartment was being cleaned, and the first room had stains on the comforter, hair on the sheets and pillows, dirty floors, and a horrible bathroom. She told the front desk and got moved, but the second room was even worse. This place is disgusting and shouldn't be open.
