I had trouble sleeping because the pillows were lumpy and there was only one thin blanket. I kept adjusting the heat to get comfortable, and couldn't find any extra blankets. The sinks were also too high for me at 5'2". The room itself was clean and modern, which helps explain the higher price than most Motel 6 locations. I arrived at 1am and the desk guy was really nice. I'm a light sleeper, and the seal under the door helped keep noise out even without a double door entrance. It wasn't perfect, but quieter than most Holiday Inn's I've stayed in. I'd suggest this Motel 6 if you bring your own bedding. I've stayed at better $90-a-night hotels that also included breakfast.

The WiFi kept cutting out for the first two days, then stopped completely for the last two. That caused serious trouble because my partner works remotely. Service was poor throughout. When we asked for two extra towels that evening, we practically had to beg. At checkout I politely requested a large trash bag to wrap my dog's bed after a small accident, so we wouldn't have to drive four and a half hours home with the smell. The morning clerk, a different man with glasses, said they had large bags but refused to give me one, and was rude even after I explained what had happened and the other problems we'd had. Earlier, after our 4.5-hour drive from Ohio to Indiana, we arrived exhausted and waited more than six minutes for the night attendant, who was outside smoking, to come help us. He wore glasses. The room was extremely small, had no hair dryer or ironing board, and the mini fridge sat awkwardly on the floor under a table. I've never had a worse hotel stay. Staff need training in basic courtesy and respect for paying guests. I won't stay at a Motel 6 again.

We just needed somewhere to sleep after an event, then left early the next morning, so this basic room suited us. It was clean and very quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only small gripe for such a low price was that the towels felt rough and came in all different sizes.

It's a fantastic location, very close to Notre Dame, and the staff were great and always cleaning. The pillows were flat and cheap; even the extra one we got didn't help enough. There was no soap in the room, so bring your own since they don't provide toiletries. Otherwise, it was good.

There's a great breakfast restaurant just down the street, which was the best thing about this place. We came for a game on short notice and hadn't looked closely, but the hotel was a dump. The room had broken fixtures, dead bugs and a dead lizard, and seemed remodeled to be smaller and less comfortable. The bed was the worst I've slept in since the Army, where I often slept fine on the ground. Staff parked in the handicapped spots out front, and another employee blocked the drive aisle by the dumpsters, making half the lot hard to reach. They still blame COVID for not providing things guests might want. I don't mean actual COVID protections, just services like coffee that would cost the hotel money. For a game weekend you may have to take what's available, but otherwise avoid it.
