The room felt run-down and had an unpleasant smell, and the convenient location was the only positive for me. At check-in, Julia at the front desk seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked how much the security deposit would be, but she said she couldn't tell until my card number was entered. That seemed odd, since the card machine was right there and I expected the amount to be clear beforehand. I was assigned a ground-floor room and asked for any other floor because a past incident at another hotel, where someone tried to get through a ground-floor patio door, makes me feel unsafe on the ground floor. I was told the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. They also said there wouldn't be a manager on duty until 10:00 am the next day, though I hadn't asked to speak to one. Later I checked online and saw rooms still available to book. I only wanted to change floors, not room types, so it was disappointing that nobody seemed to try to accommodate a reasonable concern. The service and response to guest concerns fell well below what I expected.

We got a good price for the location, which is the cheapest hotel in that area, and I'd consider coming back for a quick overnight if I wanted to save money. The beds were comfortable, the showers had good pressure and temperature control, parking was easy even on a busy weekend, and the staff were courteous and friendly. My room was reasonably clean, with clean sheets and towels, and everything organized and wiped down. I was there Saturday night during a weekend trip to Sacramento. The room and the rest of the property looked worn in ways daily cleaning can't fix. There were small tears in the curtains, stains and dents on furniture, and signs of wear everywhere I looked. The hallways and elevators were the same. It feels overdue for a visual refresh, including new furniture and fresh paint. For a short stay where I won't spend much time in the room, the discounted rate is worth it. If I wanted a nicer place to relax and feel comfortable in the room, I'd pay more to stay elsewhere.

Veronica makes the best breakfast, and seeing her happy smile in the morning always gets our day off to a good start. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. We love staying here!

We travel a lot for my daughter's club volleyball, staying in hotels and Airbnb's, and this room gave her a great spot of her own with the bunk beds. It was clean, and the bed was by far the most comfortable I've slept in. There was quite a bit of outside car noise, but it didn't bother us too much. Highly recommend!

The location worked well for us, close to the freeway and with several good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, with lots of quality choices. We also appreciated the device charging port, which was a first for us. The staff were welcoming, and everything was impeccably clean.
