Western Inn

Fair enough room and beds for a night, with no bugs, working hot water, and hardly any noise. Pleasant stay for what we paid. The office wasn't open, though, so I had to wait at the window what felt like forever in the New Mexico sun while they checked me in.

The room smelled moldy, and there were spiders and bugs in every room. The sheets, blankets, and comforter all had brown stains. It's disgusting. We're getting a refund now and going somewhere else for the night. Don't come here.

The place was great for us. We've paid a lot more for much worse, and maybe we got lucky with a very clean room. It had a window, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom where everything worked. No bugs, and the property was clean and didn't look abandoned or run down. It's close to restaurants and the main attractions. The staff are nice, it's pet friendly, and I absolutely love the Western/Alien decor. The Google and Bookings.com reviews seem strange to me. I'd recommend staying here if cozy and quirky suits you. If you want all the frills, this probably isn't the place for you.

Rima at reception was really helpful and made sure I had what I needed. I stayed in room 107 at the Western Inn in Roswell, New Mexico. It was beautiful, super clean, and well maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable after a long day, and the shower had perfect water pressure. I had a great stay and would definitely come back.
