The staff were super friendly, and Mojo’s restaurant next door was a plus. We picked this place for a dance comp because it was close to the Memorial Auditorium, but the location turned out to be a bad idea. It sits by an alley, local restaurant dumpsters, and a huge parking structure where people did donuts and set off car alarms all night. A homeless man slept in the lot every night. He seemed harmless, but the kids were freaked out. The rooms all smelled of cigarette smoke. It was a true outdoor-facing motel, and at least there was a locked gate to the stairwell, so we got the full prison experience.

We had a clean room and hot water, but the Quality inn motel wasn’t very updated. The Wi-Fi was spotty, and breakfast choices were limited to waffles or yogurt. During our last night, several things were stolen from our car. There were no cameras on the property, and homeless people were sleeping around the grounds and by the stairwells. Sacramento seemed very unclean, crime-filled, and badly maintained to me. I’d stay somewhere more secure.

The room was dated, though it was clean, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out. What bothered me more was the area: there were homeless people in the stairwells, and the extra locking gates there say a lot about the surroundings. I wouldn't stay again. I'd pay for an Uber and stay somewhere outside this area.

The property isn't luxurious, but the service really stood out. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional, and the cleaning and office staff seemed honest and genuinely attentive to guests. After checkout, I realized I'd left my makeup bag behind, and they called right away to tell me. I don't usually write hotel reviews, but it was refreshing to deal with such considerate people. Five stars for the service.

The room was unbearably hot when we opened the door, and the A/C kept shutting itself off. Our stay was awful, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's a low-budget motel, and it shows. Maybe if people stopped renting rooms, they'd modernize it or shut it down. Either outcome would be better. This place is trash. Spend the extra money on your comfort and stay somewhere else.
