The breakfast cost around $9.95, and although the food was hot, the choices weren't worth the price. There was no cereal, toast, or anything else you'd expect for about ten dollars. The dining room staff often stood together chatting, and one loudly used profanity about something unrelated to work. Parking also costs extra, with no valet service. I've never had to pay for parking at a motel before. This isn't better than a budget motel, and it's a motel, not a hotel. I can't recommend it. Read news or journal articles about this location before deciding to stay. During our three-day visit, the grounds looked fair from a distance, but up close there were spider webs everywhere and dirt and cobwebs on the buildings. They need a good power wash. The room service cart for at least some rooms in the 200s was left outside on the open hallways day and night, which made me wonder what might crawl into it. Our room didn't seem to have been prepared. The closet door was off its tracks, the room hadn't been aired out, and the air conditioner hadn't been set to cool the warm space. The tub was clogged and didn't drain during the first day's shower. We were booked for three people, but only two sets of linens were provided. We called in the early evening for more towels and washcloths. They still hadn't arrived by early morning, so we called again. There was no urgency, and I had to go to the front desk to complain. After that, the issue was fixed in a reasonable amount of time. The next day, we went out and returned at 1 pm to find the room hadn't been serviced, so we had to call about that too.

The grounds are spacious and beautiful, the room was clean, and outside noise wasn't an issue. The food was very good, too. The only drawback is that the ice and vending machines are a bit of a walk, though that's no big deal if you don't mind walking. I'd stay again.

We held a meeting here for about 200 people, and the ballroom worked well. Staff were very attentive to our group, and the wireless microphones worked great. There was also a sound system we could plug our devices into. Some attendees said the room was too cold with the A/C blasting. It was turned off soon after, and the temperature was comfortable for the rest of the meeting.

The hotel lobby and common areas are very nice, and there's a small casino on site. The sleep number beds are a nice feature, but rooms on the back side face Costco across the fence, so trucks come and go all night. The walls are thin, too. It's a bit pricey for the location, and the restaurant has really gone downhill. It used to be a very good place to eat.
