Knights Inn Saginaw

We felt safe there, and the room was clean and comfortable. The manager was very kind, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. I’ll probably stay there again the next time I’m in the area.

We’ve been staying in motels around Bay city through Saginaw about three days a week while I attend classes. Compared with all the other places we’ve tried, Roadway inn is by far the best. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean, and they work hard to keep it that way. The Manager and staff are really friendly and accommodating. Thanks for making our stays warm and pleasant. We were in a bind when we called and needed a room for a week, and the hotel’s owner was super nice and accommodating. He gave us a great rate and a really nice room. No bugs, nothing broken, and the bed was sooo comfortable. We’d stay here again if we come back to town for another conference!

The sign said new ownership and newly updated jacuzzi rooms, which is why we booked here. We always choose a room with a jacuzzi because of our health problems. We waited more than 20 minutes in the lobby for the front desk attendant, ringing the bell repeatedly and calling both the number on the sign and the one on our confirmation. Nobody answered. The manager finally showed up after eating breakfast next door, leaving the lobby unattended. We were told our room wasn’t ready and would take another hour, so we left for a while. When we got into the room, there were no bathroom towels, hand towels, or washcloths. It was Jan 6, and I found a lot of Christmas candy wrappers on the floor. The jacuzzi tub was missing parts in the jets, so we could only sit in the water. Other guests were loud all night, and we could hear a phone ringing next door. After each call, someone would get into a very loud car and leave, then come back a couple of minutes later. It seemed very suspicious. At 7:00 in the morning, we had to wake the front desk attendant to check us out. We won’t be coming back, which is unfortunate since we go to Saginaw a couple of times a month for Dr's appointments and usually stay a night or two. We live about 70 miles from Saginaw.
