Fairfield Inn & Suites Roanoke Salem

At first my room had too much noise and vibration. I let the staff know, and they moved me to another room promptly at no extra cost. The team were courteous, professional, and helpful throughout. I appreciated the quick fix and good service, which made the rest of my stay much more comfortable. A pleasant experience overall.

We needed a one-night stop with our dog, and this hotel was easy to reach from our route and better than expected. Our suite was spacious and nice, and the staff were warm, friendly, courteous, and helpful. They welcomed us with a gift bag that both our dog and the humans appreciated. The amenities were good, and there were several good restaurants nearby, so dinner options weren't a problem. (:

After a nine-hour drive, this was just the right spot for an overnight break. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the pillows soft and cozy. The front desk was friendly. We'd stop here again.

I’m at this Fairfield often and it’s always been a good stay, but today (1/4/26) stood out. The breakfast staff were so thoughtful. When I asked about gluten-free choices, the attendant smiled and said yes right away, then warmed both a bagel and a muffin so they’d be ready when I came back downstairs. If you can’t eat gluten, the attached photo should make you happy. This place was incredibly accommodating.
