Budget King Motel

Rates are reasonable, and the rooms are usually clean and tidy. But they’re quite small, and the staff were somewhat unfriendly. The surrounding area seems questionable, with lots of traffic commotion. It’s one of those cases where you get what you pay for.

The sheets were soft, the place was clean, and I loved the ice. The decor had an Asian feel. But there were some dilapidated vehicles parked near our door, and one had a very loud engine. The walls were so thin we could hear the light switch in the next room.

The room looked clean except for really stained carpet near the entrance. We paid $45 for two full beds. We found what looked like a camera taped inside the entertainment center, so we checked the bathroom for cameras too, just in case. Thank God we didn’t find any. I’ll be checking for cameras at the next place we stop.

The bed looked clean, but the rest of the floor was absolutely DISGUSTING. There looked to be vomit beside the bed, dirt all around the walls, and it crunched underfoot. I never took my shoes off. The shower drain was full of nasty hair. Don’t stay here!!!
