Motel 6 Salisbury, Md

The front desk staff were nice, but we couldn't sleep and left earlier than planned. We were just stopping over during a long drive. The whole place smelled of smoke despite our nonsmoking room, and the people above us played music all night. There was also noise from people outside in the parking lot by our room.

December 5. I'm very disappointed by how Mr.Curtis was treated. He paid to rent a room, yet they said he was scary, didn't want him there after one night, and claimed he walked around without a shirt. People who know him say he's always layered up, even in summer. This hotel is nasty and very low. They let people live there on basic terms, but when a homeless person needed somewhere warm instead of sleeping outside, they told him there were other hotels he could go to. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Negative stars.

We were exploring the Eastern shore of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, and this was a great value and convenient spot for passing through. The room was clean and otherwise good. I'd ask for a room above the first floor: the rooms in the "100s" sit about a quarter below ground level, so a car parking anywhere nearby can light up the whole room.

The staff were really friendly, especially at the front desk. No issues at all.
