The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, and there’s a Denny’s in the same parking lot with pretty good food. There isn’t much else around the area. The room was clean, though on the small side, and the bathroom was so tight that showering was difficult. There were very few outlets too, so I had to pick between plugging in my CPAP machine and charging my phone.

There are lots of snacks and drinks to choose from at the front desk, and the TVs are big. Everything was very clean, and the staff were nice and helpful. The comforter was really itchy, though. The shower shelves were sloped and useless: my small shampoo bottle slid off and landed on my foot. Water also leaked through the diverter switch. The rooms aren’t very soundproof, and my gaming console had trouble connecting to the WiFi, so I ended up using my phone’s hotspot. :D

The stay was good, and the hotel is close to restaurants and other attractions in Salisbury. The room was spacious, clean, and dust-free. The front desk hostess was pleasant and courteous, and gave us details about the hotel amenities. Breakfast and WiFi were free. We checked in after midnight for a two-night stay. Around 10 the next morning, while I was still resting, someone I assume was a housekeeper opened the door without knocking or announcing herself. She saw me lying there, apologized, and left. We hadn’t put the do not disturb sign outside, so maybe it was an honest mistake. My partner had already left the hotel, and I hope no employee was taking advantage of a room they thought was booked but vacant. I expected a knock or a clear announcement, especially the morning after a late check-in. Without that incident, I’d call it 5/5, but safety and security while I’m staying somewhere matter a lot to me.

The room was nice, and the hospitality was good. The bathroom floor was a little dirty, though, and really should be cleaned at least once a week. After my shower, there was water on the floor. I used a towel to wipe it up, and it turned black.
