Comfort Inn & Suites Salt Lake City I-80 I-15 Downtown

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was easy to relax after a long day. The location was really convenient too, close to everything we needed and simple to get around from. We'd happily stay here again and recommend it.

The staff were the best part of our stay. Everyone we met, from the front desk and breakfast attendant to housekeepers just arriving for work, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were in Salt Lake for one night with our toddler, and at check-in our daughter was getting into her pre-bedtime crazy stage. The man at the desk was patient and kind, upgraded us to a suite, and offered to get milk and a snack if she needed it. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of choices in a clean dining area. We'll be back next time we're in SLC.

My family has been going through a very stressful time, and the team at Comfort Inn & Suites has helped us so much, especially Joanna. The bed frame was my one real problem. Sheet metal around the base rattled every time I moved, which made the room feel industrial and made it harder to sleep. Tightening it, adding padding, or changing the material could help. Otherwise, this older place has been skillfully remodeled, especially the bathroom. The shower had great temperature control and water pressure. The hotel was quiet inside despite being right by a busy highway, with friendly staff, easy check-in, plenty of parking, and what seemed like good security: exterior doors use locked key-card entry, and stairwell entry is controlled by key, though you can exit for a fire without one. The calm interior made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was the usual buffet for a hotel at this level, with scrambled eggs, sausage, several breads, cereal, yogurt, milk, juice, and a waffle maker. I wish there had been hard-boiled eggs, but it was hot, fresh, and satisfying. The location worked for what I needed to do in Salt Lake City, and the price was fair. I'd stay again if the bed noise were fixed.
