Hyatt Place San Antonio Airport/Quarry Market

The king suite was comfortable and well laid out, and the location was very convenient. We stayed four nights, and everything we needed or asked for was provided promptly. Breakfast was continental, but had real food, including cooked eggs and bacon, and you could get a bagel. The coffee was great, and there’s a bar where you can buy a drink or even a Starbucks coffee. My only complaint was the tiny bathroom. There was literally nowhere to put shower items.

The pool was awesome and not crowded, which we loved. Maybe that’s because it’s a small hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the TV had good channels. The staff were helpful and attentive, and we appreciated that they didn’t push us to check out. Breakfast was good for a hotel, though they should add waffles and improve the eggs. A jacuzzi would be a nice extra. The shower in room 423 was nice, but the setup was bad. You have to get inside to turn the handle on, and the water was either really hot or really cold. The door only slid one way, and it should slide the other way so you can turn on the shower before getting in. Overall, a great stay. Thanks, we’ll be back.

We booked a standard king using points and got upgraded to a king suite. Everyone at the front desk was welcoming from check-in to check-out. The airport shuttle was convenient, and the complimentary short-distance shuttle was a nice touch. Our chauffeur Roland was a delight. Breakfast was tasty, with boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, tortillas, fruit, breads, and cereal. Staff kept the tables and chairs in the breakfast area clean. All around, an excellent stay!

We spent the night at Hyatt Place before our flight. The room was very spacious, the hotel was clean, and the staff were kind and courteous, taking care of everything we needed. Breakfast was great, and they also serve Starbucks for an extra cost. The free shuttle runs to and from the airport. This will be my number one Hyatt spot in San Antonio.
