Navajo Lodge

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, even though this is a no-frills hotel in an older part of town. We felt safe there. The owner-manager went out of his way to make our stay a good one. The lot was tight for my truck, though, clearly laid out for the smaller cars of an earlier era. Would I stay again? Sure.

The rooms are a good size and have a refrigerator and microwave, plus shampoo, lotion, soap, and mouthwash. It was a very hot week, but the air conditioner kept my room cool the whole time. The owner is kind and easy to reach. I really enjoyed staying here and would come back.

We only stayed because we couldn't find another room, and this one was nonrefundable. It was far too expensive for what we got, and I don't recommend it. The room hadn't been made up when we arrived, and there was hair in the bed. The beds were hard, the walls and floors were dirty, and the place smelled musty. The bathroom didn't work properly, and the owner already knew there were problems because the water had been shut off. The parking area is extremely small.

We paid $125 for a nightmare. The room wasn't fit to stay in: there was black mold throughout the bathroom, including on the shower curtain, and feces on the walls. The sheets smelled of body odor, used toilet paper was left behind, and belongings from previous guests were still in the room. The bathroom floor was disgusting, and the air conditioner blew hot air.
