Springhill Suites San Diego Mission Valley

The location was great, and though lots of families were staying there, the hotel stayed quiet. Our rooms were very clean and well stocked when we arrived, and the staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in. Breakfast had a delicious variety, stayed well stocked, and the dining room was clean. Don’t take my word for it, give it a go. Happy traveling!

Everything else was great, but breakfast freshness was a miss for me. It was the usual basic hotel spread, yet the fresh fruit was old, the brown sugar was hard as a rock, and the sausage looked gross, maybe undercooked. These breakfasts are simple, so freshness matters. When you’re traveling and don’t have time to stop somewhere else, you count on it.

We’ve been Marriott regulars for life, and everyone in our family, kids included, agrees this location has the friendliest staff of any Marriott we’ve stayed at. Eddie and Remley at the front desk were especially helpful, warm, and polite every time we came and went. They made the stay feel very hospitable.

Our experience was amazing overall. The employees were cheerful and friendly, breakfast was great, and we really appreciated the GF convenience. We also liked having the toilet separate from the shower, and the rooms were enjoyable. The couch was not clean at all, so we covered it with a bedsheet. I wasn’t too fond of the eco-fridge.
