Aldrich Hotel

We left another hotel because people there were shooting up, and hoped this one would be better. It wasn't. There were shady characters everywhere, and the place felt unsafe. The elevator looked incredibly dodgy, the room was only so-so, and the walls were paper thin. I could hear people having sex next door, while my partner ended up with bed bugs. It was loud everywhere, and I got just three hours of sleep before we checked out at 5am after one night. I wouldn't stay again and really recommend people avoid it. It felt like a place for people using drugs and banging prostitutes. Spend more and stay somewhere else.

The room had the basics, a bed, bathroom and TV, and was decent enough. The employees were fine, and we stayed four nights, but housekeeping never came and the towels weren't changed. It also had a generally dirty feel and was very outdated, with no A/C. We were on the top floor and it stayed hot all night. The area isn't good, so the front door is locked 24/7. There was a lot of yelling outside and sirens going constantly, which made for sleepless nights. I don't live nearby and took a chance, but wouldn't stay again.

A quiet spot for couples, and close enough to walk to the waterfront attractions. I took my wife for a one-night getaway and we had a great time. The room was comfortable and very clean, the tub was fantastic, and the free glass of wine when we arrived really hit the spot.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! On my first night, two front desk employees went into my room and opened three of my bags. The next morning, I came back from work to find my belongings scattered across the floor. I told the manager, and he said this kind of thing happens all the time. Completely unacceptable. I'm not coming back.
