What I’ll remember most about our family stay at the Fairmont, San Francisco is how caring the staff were. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and Elle Dodson and Liam deserve a special mention for going out of their way to help. They offered thoughtful recommendations and checked that things were going well, which made us feel valued. The hotel itself felt first-class, from its elegant lobby to the well-appointed rooms. I’d happily stay at the Fairmont again on a future San Francisco trip, and recommend it to anyone looking for luxury with genuinely warm hospitality. Thanks to the whole team, especially Elle and Liam.

The team made me feel welcome from the minute I arrived, and the service stayed professional and friendly throughout. The room was spacious and well kept, with wonderful city and bay views. The comfortable bedding and amenities added to the feeling of luxury. Set atop Nob Hill, the Fairmont San Francisco has striking architecture and historic character. Cable cars and many of the city’s best-known sights are just steps away, which made exploring easy. The combination of the views, location, and hospitality made this one of the finest hotels I’ve stayed in. Five stars, and I look forward to coming back.

Our stay got off to a slightly bumpy start because the room in the older building wasn’t what we wanted. The staff were very accommodating, though, and moved us to a suite in the new building. That change made a huge difference. The modern suite was stunning and had amazing city views. We enjoyed the service, the beautiful property, and the convenient location. I’d recommend it, especially if you book a room with a view in the newer tower.

Hamid made checking in a great experience. He took time to help me choose the right suite for my family and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. It felt like he really cared about making our trip special. Walking into the Fairmont lobby on our first day in San Francisco already felt magical, and the Golden Gate Suite’s views were incredible. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel and that suite.

The staff were the highlight: attentive, helpful, and even brought birthday treats to our grandchild’s room. We also enjoyed the restaurants, and the location worked really well for us. It’s a cool older hotel, though it could use a little paint and some TLC. We were really disappointed that the Tonga Room was closed during our visit.
