Jim in in-room dining was great about my requests, and Dorian made sure I had everything I needed before I headed to the airport. Their care made the stay especially memorable. The InterContinental San Francisco is clean and modern, and worked well for both business and leisure thanks to its location. I’d happily come back.

The view of the city and Bay was the best part of the room, which was clean and perfectly fine, if standard. Staff were kind and helpful. When I asked about hot water, they brought a kettle up, which was great. Being right by the conference center made getting around easy, and plenty of other places were an easy walk away. They leave free bottled water daily, and I only later noticed the refill station on the first floor. It’s a solid, no-frills hotel, reliable rather than fancy. Great location, service, and views. I’d book again.

Dorian in the lobby made our overnight stop in San Francisco a lot of fun. We were on our way to Maui, and he had a great time swapping ideas and comments with us about our upcoming itinerary. That personal touch made the stay.

The staff were the best part of our stay. Dorian at the door and the other people who welcomed us, whose names I can’t remember, were especially great. The rooms were comfortable, and the hotel was clean and nicely decorated too.

The drinks at 888 bistro were great, and the staff, from the bellman to the front desk and restaurant team, were welcoming. We had a few minor issues in the room, but the desk quickly moved us and got them sorted. The location makes it easy to tour the city in a reverse clockwise route: Union Square and SFMOMA are nearby, and the Ferry Building is about a 20-minute walk. The room was much better than at the Fairmont SF and the Westin Union Square. Fine hotels in SF often have a bit of history, and I’d definitely return here.
