Having MUNI right outside made it easy to get around, and the hotel’s complimentary on-site and off-site parking was a great value. Benny and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a two-queens room with the basic necessities, though I would’ve liked more room to spread out. The bathroom felt cramped too.

We ended up staying at another nearby motel for a fair price and better conditions after our reservation became too expensive to keep. We had booked two rooms for three nights in November 2025 on Booking.com, many months ahead, with free cancellation. When our plans changed and we needed two nights instead, we tried to modify it while still within the free cancellation and modification period. Although we were dropping a night within the same dates, the system showed the new dates as unavailable. We messaged the property through Booking.com, and after a long wait they said it was fine and we’d pay for two nights at check-in, but the reservation price never changed. Then they said we needed to cancel and make a new reservation to modify the stay. We weren’t comfortable relying on that, so we contacted Booking.com support. They said only the property could change the reservation and tried to reach them. After the 48-hour deadline, Booking.com told us the property hadn’t responded. Once the original booking was canceled, prices had gone up significantly. The cost of two nights in a new booking was more than we were supposed to pay for the original three-night early booking. Based on what happened, I found the property unprofessional and unreliable. I’m sharing this so other travelers can make an informed decision.

Parking was my main concern, but the front desk person said they hadn’t had break-ins in their lot. There wasn’t much parking, though we always found a spot overnight, and it was good to know there was backup parking at another hotel they own down the road. The front desk person was helpful and happy to answer our questions. My husband and I enjoyed the stay. The place was nicely redecorated, and it was a relief to take the elevator with our luggage instead of climbing the outdoor stairs. A few things could’ve been better: the fan over the shower didn’t work, a round ceiling device, maybe Wi-Fi, had blue lights that distracted me at night, and the room lights were very bright white when warmer, dimmer lights would’ve been much nicer. Still, it was a pleasant stay and I’d recommend it.

The parking lot is small, but we had no trouble finding a spot. There’s another lot a few blocks away too. We slept well with basic earplugs, since SF is noisy. It’s easy to catch lots of different buses after walking a few blocks. The location is perfect, and the rooms looked just like the pictures after their renovation. They were very clean too.
