For our first trip to San Fransisco, my partner and I found this to be a good, budget-friendly place, and I’d stay again. The location is fantastic, with loads of restaurants and bars within five minutes and easy access to public transportation. Our room was clean, though the kitchen and bathroom looked a little run down and could have been cleaner. Nothing too bad. Online check-in wasn’t ideal and customer service wasn’t the best, but we got in on time and everything worked properly once we were inside.

The place is hostel-like, with shared bathrooms and showers, but the kitchen is beautiful and has plenty of cutlery and appliances. The location is great, in one of the nicer areas of San Francisco and fairly safe, as far as that goes. The door code instructions were confusing at first when sharing a room, but I got used to them. Opening the door with an app is neat, though if your phone dies you could be stuck since there’s no representative in the lobby. Lovely stay.

Our room was clean and nice, though squeezing in luggage took some effort. The location is ideal, with lots of restaurants around the corner and most of central SF and the sights within walking distance if you’re up for it. It was well worth the price.

Good budget place for a San Francisco visit, with plenty of restaurants nearby and different options for lunch or dinner. There are a lot of homeless people close by, and at times the area can feel unsafe, though I think that’s just the feeling. Van Ness station is four blocks away.

A good pick for a short stay if you’re watching your budget and just need somewhere to rest. The neighborhood is lively, with plenty of good dining within walking distance, and public transport is close by. Check-in might seem daunting at first, but it’s not as complicated as some reviews suggest.
