The pillows were thin and uncomfortable, which was my biggest complaint. Otherwise, we had a great stay. Our contemporary room’s bridge view was stunning and worth paying extra over the historic room, and the water pressure was good. Soundproofing seemed effective, though it was a quieter weeknight. Mara and Isaac at the front provided great service. Brit’s Fort Baler history tour was fascinating, he really knows his stuff. The Lexus rental was a fun perk, and bridge tolls were covered. We liked both restaurants.

Dinner by room service was a mixed bag after we’d just driven a long way back to the Bay Area. The salmon and dessert were good, but the chicken sandwich didn’t impress me much. The room was clean, and the care we received felt thoughtful. Our view of the Golden Gate Bridge made the stay extra special, and the property is lovely to drive around. It is a bit of a trip from the parking lot to the building, but you can ask the front desk to send a car. I’d gladly return to Cavallo Point while in Sausalito.

We spent Veterans Day weekend here and were welcomed by very friendly staff. Our child even got a stuffed toy, and we were upgraded to the best room available, with a great Golden Gate Bridge view. The hotel is very close to the children’s discovery museum and some lovely trails. A great family getaway, or a place to use Amex FHR credits.

The views were incredible and the food was fantastic. Sebastian and Isaac looked after us at check-in, Lori did a wonderful job helping us in the store, and Alberto took great care of us over a wonderful lunch in the lounge. Amazing staff.

Great views of GGB and plenty of hiking trails nearby. There’s lots of self-parking, with valet as another option. The hotel restaurant and bar are amazing.
