I’ll be in SF a lot in the future and will definitely stay here again. The location is convenient, with the museum of cable cars within walking distance, and I liked both the price and the amenities. Everything was nice and clean, the heater worked well, and it stayed quiet all night even with every room occupied. The sink water was icy cold, though you could get hot water in the shower. Also, an alarm sounds whenever you return to the covered parking lot, but you can’t hear it from inside the room and it didn’t disturb my sleep. They really have everything at a very regular nightly price.

Friendly, helpful staff and convenient parking made this a solid value for the price. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Castle Inn San Francisco is budget-friendly and well placed for Lombard Street and Fisherman’s Wharf, with public transit easy to reach. I’d stay again.

The person at reception was very polite and gave me a map of the area, which helped a lot. The hotel isn’t luxurious, but it met my travel needs perfectly. It’s well located for public transportation and tourist attractions, and I’d stay there again.

The room wasn’t the nicest or cleanest, but that’s where you get what you pay for, and I’d stay again for the value. The bed was comfortable, and the front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful. It’s a great spot for getting around by transit, bike or scooter, or ride share. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s nice to walk around the area. The hotel was just right for what it is.

There’s no view, and the rooms were noisy because the walls are so thin. Still, the room itself was nice, and the small bathroom was adequate. The shower water was nice and hot. This inn is on Broadway just off Van Ness, with free parking, though the spaces are very tight. Lots of restaurants and shops on Polk are an easy walk away. I’ll stay here again.
