The Metro Hotel

My fiance and I have stayed here several times, and the people are the kindest and most accommodating I’ve met. When we got engaged in SF last year, they gave us a handwritten congratulations card, chocolates, and flowers. Ashley and the team helped make the day even more special, and they’re so personable that I can’t recommend them enough. The place itself is a perfect, cute, cozy little spot in a great location. The comfortable beds, cozy room, and wonderful staff are why we’ll definitely come back. We also loved the tea and water in the beautiful lobby. There’s no elevator, but that was okay for us. Parking was an issue since there isn’t any. Derek was patient, understanding, helpful, and kind while helping me book our stay. Ashley surprised us with an upgrade without us asking, which we appreciated a lot.

Our double room was quite small for two, but it worked well since we weren’t planning to spend all our time indoors. The hotel felt cozy and was in a really convenient spot, with lots of nice cafes and restaurants close by. The area felt very safe. I’d stay here again.

Tommy, who worked the evening front desk, was a delight. He was kind whenever we came in and had great suggestions for places to check out. The location was absolutely stellar. The rooms are on the small side, but the service and location made the size matter very little. A 10/10 experience, and I’ll be back.
