The room was filthy, so I wouldn't recommend staying here. I booked last minute on the app and couldn't afford to switch hotels once I arrived. There were stains on the bed's back baseboard, and the dresser between the beds was disgusting. The microwave and bed were clean and neat, but the fridge needed work and the TV remote had built-up gunk. The bathroom area was mostly clean, except for the toilet and shower. The shower was dusty, and the water kept getting hotter until it was nearly impossible to shower because it was burning. The toilet seat was peeling, so I had to use toilet paper or squat to avoid touching it. The location is convenient, but there are other hotels nearby that are probably cleaner.

I stayed here for about a year, and the employees and owner turned out to be wonderful people. I consider them friends and family now. If I ever go back to santee sc, I’ll stay at the econolodge again. #1 motel for nice people and good hospitality.

The desk clerk took my wallet, and when I called, I spent two days asking about it without getting an answer. I was already back in fl when I called again and found out they had it. Then he called me names after I hung up because he was being disrespectful, and called me back. He never even asked for my address to send the wallet. Guess you get what you paid for. Priceline listed this as a 3 star hotel, but it’s more like -3 stars. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room was decent for a good night's sleep, and I had no problems during my stay. I gave it four stars because there was no breakfast. I’ll be back 😊

My trailer broke down late on a Sunday, and they got me into a room within minutes. While I waited outside in the rain for the tow truck driver, the owner came out and offered to help with whatever he could. I've never experienced hospitality like that. I’m so grateful I wasn’t stranded. This business deserves more than five stars. Thank you for helping me, I can’t praise you enough.
