Hampton Inn Santee-I-95

The breakfast was delicious, and the women working in that area were so kind and helpful. The room was incredibly clean, and everyone on staff went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. Hampton Inn at Santee is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. If you’re traveling 95 and need a place for the night, it can’t be beat. We’ll stay here whenever we’re passing through on vacation.

The breakfast area staff were lovely, and the service was great. But the bathroom corners had dirt and signs of wear, and there was a large patch where fresh paint seemed to be covering a problem area or where they might have been preparing to paint. Maybe our room just needed an upgrade, but it wasn’t as clean as the reviews suggested. We liked our Hampton Inn Florence much more. We stopped here for the first time while driving from New York to Florida and decided to go a bit farther on our first night. The area wasn't much to our liking either. For a 2 star at that price, we expected cleanliness and comfort. It was a miss for us, and I don't think we’d stay again.

I first stayed here because of the location, even though I’d written off Hamptons for two years after some bad experiences. This one changed my mind. It’s very clean, well managed, and everything works without maintenance problems. The staff are well trained and generally nice people. The room was spacious, with drawers and cubbies for storage. I love this Hampton Inn and highly recommend it. We’ll stay whenever we’re in the area.

The beds stood out, they were genuinely comfortable, with fresh linens that made it easy to relax after a long travel day. Breakfast was just right for a quick hotel stop, with a good range of choices, plenty of food, and a clean dining area that was easy to get around. The staff I met were friendly and accommodating, and check-in was quick. After an Airbnb that wasn't great, Hampton Inn Santee I-95 felt like a clean, dependable reset. The room was spotless, and the stay was comfortable and easy.
