Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa

Being right on the harbor and close to everything was a big plus, and the place felt clean and safe. I stayed in the Harbor View room and enjoyed a fire each evening, then tea on the balcony while watching the sunset. The bathroom was huge, with a large tub and a separate shower, and the toilet had its own room. There were all the amenities I needed, including good soaps and lotions, a fridge, and robes. Staff were very helpful. My partner had a work event at the hotel, and they looked after his whole company really well.

I was there for work, but the trip turned into a memorable, really lovely stay. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly placed, and the meal at Poggio’s was incredible. Staff at both the restaurant and hotel were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I’d love to come back with my family for a more relaxed visit. Highly recommend!

For our group, the attentive staff were what made the stay at Casa Madrona feel special. The views from the event spaces are beautiful, too. I’d highly recommend it for a Sausalito trip or for hosting an event.

From our bay-facing room, I could have spent all day watching the light change and the activity on the water: birds, boats, ferries, kayakers, and fog rolling in. It was beautiful at any hour. The hotel’s weekend offerings are worth checking out as well. We loved the evening sound bath, and there’s morning yoga and access to the spa steam room whenever you want. Casa Madrona made a great weekend escape from the city. Staff were welcoming, and the location is hard to beat, with restaurants and shops right outside and more a short walk away.
