Kehoe House, Historic Inns of Savannah

We had our wedding here, and it was an amazing experience! Courtney coordinated everything and was a superstar. The rest of the staff were so kind, sweet, and wonderful. We also followed their recommendations for photography with Jamie (dream weaver photos) and violin with Jonita. They were a perfect combination!

We stayed in the Mercer room for our 50th anniversary. It was restful and pretty, with two balconies, one private and one shared. The openings were large windows, not doors. The staff were caring, and the location is excellent. Breakfast was amazing, and the 5pm-7pm hors d'oeuvres included hot items, cheese boards, wine, coffee, tea, soda, and water. You can eat in the large room or sign up at the front desk for first-come, first-served room service, delivered to your room or balcony. There's daily housekeeping with fresh towels, and an elevator if you'd rather skip the winding staircase. The spacious foyer has views of an ornate staircase leading to another lovely sitting room with a grand piano. Ask the front desk if you're a great pianist who wants to show off on the ivories. Decks of cards are available for a game during quieter times. You can request a horse-drawn carriage too. You won't be disappointed!

Charles made us feel like family from the moment we arrived and was one of the best hosts we've ever met. We picked Kehoe House because it is one of the few historic homes with an elevator and nearby parking, and we had a phenomenal stay. The staff serve a lovely breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres and wine, and fresh-baked cookies appear in your room each night. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. This romantic house faces a charming park and a very good restaurant, and it's within easy walking distance of restaurants, historic sites, and River Street. We'd definitely return.

On Christmas Eve, staff, including Nova and the manager, handled a reservation mix-up with real empathy. They'd recently updated their computer systems, and our booking was still in the old one. We had reserved months earlier, and they came up with a wonderful solution to make sure Christmas would still be amazing. The property is beautiful, but the staff are what give it that extra touch and make it feel like a world-class place.
