A good budget option if you keep your expectations realistic. The bathrooms are dated, but clean enough that I was comfortable walking around barefoot. Rooms were spotless, spacious, and had comfortable beds, with plenty of outlets for phones. It's right off the highway, though we didn't notice the noise. Breakfast had eggs, packaged sausage links, and the usual items, all kept clean and replenished. Staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We didn't bring pets, but they accept them, up to two at 40 pounds each, with a $100 damage deposit.

The staff are the reason we keep picking this hotel when we're in the area. Dhara especially made an impression, from our first stop to our last. She's informative and easy to laugh with. Our rooms have always been clean and comfortable, and the little breakfast is lovely and more than adequate. Thanks to housekeeping and the front desk for making each visit feel a bit like coming home.

Breakfast was yummy, and check-in was easy. The staff were friendly and kind, and when I asked to stay an extra hour because my baby was sick and my husband wasn't finished with work, they agreed right away. It's right off 81, so getting on and off is easy. The room was a little dusty, and there were a few hairs in the bathroom, but I'd stay again. For me, it's a 9.5 out of 10.

The desk staff are very nice, and the price was lower than I expected, so it was definitely worth it. The rooms are old, but clean and functional. There's only a McDonald's at the same highway exit. The next exit, eight miles down, has a dozen restaurants and many more hotel options.

We were pleased with our stay at the Comfort Inn, Chambersburg. The price was very reasonable, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant, breakfast was great, and cleanliness, high on our list, was handled very well. We'd stay again and recommend it to other travelers.
