We’re between places right now, and this has been a cozy spot where we feel at home and safe. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are friendly and check whether you need anything, and someone is available at the office. There’s a desk, plus a sofa couch where you can relax and watch TV instead of sitting on the bed. The sink is outside the bathroom and has plenty of counter space; the fridge is bigger than a mini fridge, and there’s a microwave. We’d looked at other motels first, where the staff were rude, rooms tiny and dirty, and prices high. Surfside was affordable and a real find. The beach and boardwalk are especially peaceful in winter.

There were five of us, and we were all happy with the room. It had two king beds, a comfy chair, a loveseat, a vanity outside the bathroom, a fridge, and a large flat screen TV. It was a regular motel setup, but truly clean, and the bed linens were great. The staff were awesome, kind, and helpful, and there’s a fenced outdoor pool too. My friends and I wanted an affordable shore trip for crabbing, and Surfside was within our budget. It’s just a five-minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. We found it on booking.com and were pleasantly surprised. I’d recommend it for a longer stay or a one-night getaway to relax.

The location right by the boardwalk was great. The room was what you’d expect from a Jersey shore motel, and it was clean. It did take the heater a while to warm the room.

We booked one of the bigger rooms and had a great stay. The room was clean, and the staff were really friendly.

Seaside is a party town in summer, but we had a great time at this classic Jersey shore motel. The location was prime, and the people at the desk were very nice.
