1 Hotel Seattle

The lobby felt a little flat during my visit, and check-in took quite a while. Still, the rooms are decorated really well and the location is better than average, so 1 Hotel Seattle was a cool place to stay. I did find some hair on the bathroom floor, though, which wasn't great.

Breakfast was amazing, and the bartenders make great drinks even if you don't know what you're in the mood for. I also loved the eco-friendly touches, especially the “not now/now” rock and the option to leave extra clothes for charity. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll book here whenever I'm in Seattle.

Being able to walk everywhere easily and safely, with Whole Foods right next door, made the location especially handy. We loved the sustainability focus and the creative room details, including a snack and drink bar that was stocked really well. From the welcome at the door to check-in and our superb room, the whole stay was outstanding. Kudos to Gene and his team. We'll stay here whenever we're in Seattle.

The hotel's close to the Space Needle, the Children's Museum, and the Pacific Science Center, and it was easy to get around on foot with our toddler. Valet was excellent, and the service throughout was top-notch. Helen was especially friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight too: our waiter let us try a pancake sample for our picky son before ordering, a small gesture we really appreciated. Everyone was welcoming, the amenities covered what we needed, and the hotel looks beautiful. We had a wonderful staycation at 1 Hotel Seattle and would recommend it to families.
