Got handed a craft beer at check-in, and the clean room was great. This is a seriously cool hotel, close to everything. Only issue for me, as a 6foot 300lb man, was the tiny shower, even smaller than the one in my RV. Save yourself $20 and book directly with the hotel instead of through VRBO.

Really cozy feel. The room and bathroom were smaller than I pictured, but still nice. The staff were amazing. Take advantage of the free bikes for a morning ride around Seattle!

I slept well overall, though the bed felt a bit lumpy to me. Hotel Max is in a historic building, and its age gives the place character without compromising the cleanliness or comfort. The rooms were spotless and stylish, with clear attention to detail. I also liked the local photographers featured throughout and the artistic atmosphere. It’s a memorable, well-kept stay if you want somewhere chic and welcoming in Seattle.

I’d come back because the staff made the stay. The front desk was consistently available, professional, engaging, and happy to answer questions about the area. The room matched its description, but the walls are thin enough that I could repeat conversations from next door. The building could use more attention from the owners: only one elevator was working, and the lobby needs updating, especially the ugly furniture.

I stay here when I come into Seattle for office work, and it’s so easy to check in. Being downtown near the light rail and bus tunnel means I can get pretty much anywhere. Love this place, highly recommend it.
