The room was decent, with a nice kitchen and dinette, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's an older property, and my wife found the bed too firm. The main problem was access for someone with limited mobility. I had to carry my wife's mobility scooter up the stairs to the lobby, and there was no elevator, so we left the scooter in the office. For continental breakfast, we had to walk a couple of blocks to another hotel.

Coffee was available anytime at the reception, and the location was ideal, within walking distance of Seattle Center and the Space Needle. There was no parking, but the hotel offered its reserved spots for $20 a day. The rate was reasonable enough that we extended our stay by a day, and the hotel made our Seattle visit a great experience. The interior has a magical vintage look with a nice twist, and the staff were lovely and friendly. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The only letdown was that water in the tub took a while to drain during a shower. Recommended!

The kitchenette was a real surprise, with a gas stove, fridge, microwave, cupboards, and all the pots, pans, and cutlery we needed. My wife and I liked how simple the place was. The room had plenty of character and was very clean and well kept, even if the small size and nearly antique trim and fixtures might not suit someone looking for five-star luxury. I’d gladly stay here whenever I need a night in the city.

We came from the East Coast for a Seattle vacation and were glad to find an affordable place right in the middle of everything. The nostalgia was part of its charm, and after a bit of discussion they moved us to another room when the gas range was putting far too much gas into ours. The beds weren’t great, and this definitely isn’t the spot if you need luxury, but for the price it’s probably the best deal in town. We’d come back.

The location was good, and the young woman at the front desk was pleasant when I talked to her. But I wouldn’t recommend staying here. My room was dirty, with mold on the ceiling and around the tub, and the windows were so filthy I couldn’t see through them. The view was an alley anyway. One window was stuck open at an odd angle, so it was cold and noisy all night and I didn’t sleep. There was also a gap at the top and bottom of the door, so I heard everyone passing by, along with two dogs barking across the hall. The manager never called to apologize, and the phone number on the business cards was disconnected.
