Reside Seattle Downtown, a Wyndham Residence

For our 6 year anniversary, I asked if they could leave a little message. They went further than I expected and hung balloons and a sweet “congrats” above the windows. My wife was in awe and loved it. It was our first time in Seattle, and I'm so glad I picked this place. The tourist attractions were close, so we didn't need to Uber as much. Our room felt cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the people at the front desk were welcoming and friendly. I'd definitely stay again.

We got a studio apartment and used the fully functional kitchenette to make snacks we bought at the H-Mart just a couple doors down. That helped us save a little on eating out. There was also a full sized bathtub, which my wife needs. The room had a TV in both the living room and bedroom. The W/D unit didn't work, but there's a coin operated laundry room on our floor. For Seattle, the price was surprisingly low, especially since we were here for a Seattle Seahawks playoff game when nearby hotels had raised their rates. The location was close to Pike Place Market, Starbuck’s, and Westlake Mall, with a tram to the Space Needle. Staff responded to texts 24/7. I also overheard the front desk handle an impatient customer with grace. We plan to stay here again.

The staff were kind and funny, and the location was amazing. We walked just about everywhere. The rooms weren't bad, but a lot of the work looked like a "landlord special": painted-over hardware and really poorly installed flooring. The washer/dryer combo was no good either. It's one machine, and from what we could tell, there was no way to run just the dryer.

This is a restored 100-year-old hotel, updated without being overdone, which works really well. The rooms are clean, modernized, and fully functional. It's across the street from Pike Place Market and four blocks from the light rail station and monorail. RESIDE is a Wyndham product focused on restored older properties. There's a full kitchen in the room, though no breakfast area. The staff are great, and GM Mr. Matt Carson runs a great operation.
