Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Stadium

We stayed last summer for a concert across the street and really liked the hotel. The rooftop pool, hot tub, and patio were my favorite, with a stunning view. The valet was respectful and took good care of our vehicle. I’d definitely go back.

The staff were exceptionally accommodating, and the location made it a great experience. The rooms are expensive, but I felt the stay was worth the extra cost. Pairing it with a Mariners game made for an ideal trip for me and my family.

We felt at ease as soon as we arrived. The check-in was friendly and professional, and the hotel itself is clean, modern, and thoughtfully put together. It’s a cozy, welcoming place, and we really enjoyed our stay. We’d happily come back.

The room was clean, but being next to the pool equipment room on the 8th floor meant listening to industrial machinery at different pitches all night. That made for a rough stay. I’ve stayed at the Ruston and Lake Union Silver Cloud Inns before, and always liked the in-room jacuzzi tubs. This time, at the Stadium location, the valet price was over $60 with tax. Staff told us there was practically no nearby street parking except by the stadiums, where they said it might not be safe. But I found free spots for me and my guest right on 1st Avenue, less than 200 feet from the entrance, with several more visible across the street. There was also a lot about 100 feet away charging less than half the valet price. Maybe that lot isn’t the safest choice, though I had no problems. Telling guests valet is almost the only option feels close to extortion, because it just isn’t true. I was there on a Wednesday, so parking may be harder on a weekend. Either way, the valet fee is ridiculous.
