The room was clean, there were no bugs, and dogs are allowed. The front desk person was friendly and helped with our last-minute needs. But for both days we stayed, the janitor looked directly into our room instead of checking with the front desk or knocking. I couldn’t really keep the curtains open. At 11:00 sharp on our last day, he stared at me while I was shirtless. I’m a woman, and he could have knocked. I’m going to contact HR about it. I’ve included pictures showing how easy it is to see inside before reaching the glass.

I was there for five days, from November 7 to 12, and had no problems. The room was decent enough and the bed was very comfortable. There was no housekeeping during the entire stay, but I knew that from the reviews and it didn’t bother me. The hotel is well located, with restaurants nearby. A bus to New York runs every hour, and it’s a 10-minute walk to the stop for the 129 to Port Authority Bus Terminal. The bus costs $4.10 one way. I’d stay here again because it’s affordable, and a better deal than a Manhattan hostel at the same price.

I was surprised by how much I liked this place. It had what I needed, felt safe, and was the best price in the area. My room was cozy and super clean, with fresh fluffy linens and no disturbances. I even had an unexpectedly lovely view of the river and bridge. The front desk lady helped sort out my strange room booking, and she was great. I wish I remembered her name, but she gave me her extra purple devil horns for Halloween.

The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was easy. The front desk guy was helpful. There’s a Wendy’s, Dunkin, and Subway across the street, with shopping close by. I visited NYC, about 20 minutes away or so.
