The fully equipped kitchen suite, with dishes and utensils, was a real plus, and having the bed in a separate room was almost as nice. We called late to book, and Pete arranged a room over the phone without any trouble. When we arrived late, the extra bedding we'd requested was already set out. It's a cozy little place, and I'd stay here again.

The owner had lots of useful tips about hikes and other things. We had two beds in separate rooms and a full kitchen, and the place was clean and felt safe. Great spot just off the main drag.

We booked at the last second and have already decided to return every year. The owner and staff were so personable, and the rooms were versatile. A full kitchen was useful with little kids, while separate rooms made bedtime much easier. The location was the best part: everything was walkable, and being across the street from a park helped the kids burn off energy at day's end. Thanks, Tides Inn. We'll be back next year to see Pete and his family!

The location is the Tides Inn's strongest point. It's a reasonable option for a group of five that wants to avoid paying for two rooms in the same area. The photos people posted show the age of the units accurately, so you get what you pay for. I hope the owners replace the carpet, it looks old and gross. They also seem to run the hospitality business like a 9 to 5 office. They're off-site and only reachable by phone before 10 am and after 5 pm.

The price was a little beyond what we could afford for a longer stay, but this would be an excellent choice for a quiet, lovely place. A very nice man answered the phone and got us a room that same night after our campground fell through. The grounds are nicely landscaped, and the office has interesting decorations. The kitchenette has lots of things you'd need to make a meal. Stores and shops are very close, and there's a convenient public bathroom right across the street. You can see the ocean down the road.
