Clover Inn & Suites

The only thing this place has going for it is how close it is to Shreveport Airport. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed overnight in, and the pictures don’t even show how bad it is.

I found needles with drugs still inside and cocaine in the room I shared with my daughter. After being on the road all night for an event, I’d gone straight to sleep without showering, so I only discovered it the next morning. I tried to report it to the front desk, but nobody was there. I called about eight times, then had to leave for my work assignment. When I came back afterward to talk to the manager, the owner was there instead. He was rude, kept talking over me, and cut me off instead of trying to fix the problem. When I asked why he was acting that way when I was the one dealing with the issue, he stayed short with me. He yelled, “Do what you wanna do, you should have came up her before now.” I was trying to understand how I could have come earlier while explaining how upsetting it was to find a drug needle in the room with my daughter. I told him that since he was the owner, I’d be filing documentation. I have photos, evidence, and a witness. Of the 360 rooms, they only have 6 active. This shows what kind of place it is and the kind of people you have to deal with. This establishment should be boycotted. Don't waste your time or money!

Bugs and dirt were all over, and the place felt disgusting. The towels, sheets, mattress, and lamps were stained, and the whole property was badly worn down. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here.

We had to buy our own towels because theirs were so nasty. The bed was disgusting, the sheets were dirty, the mattress was torn up, and the lampshade was lying on the table. This place was just filthy. I’d never recommend it to anybody.
