Wingate by Wyndham Shreveport Airport

We stayed on 2/13/26 and didn't even get breakfast. The tub was filthy, and whatever I thought might be a stain came off when I rubbed it with my toe. We had only one washcloth. While searching for parking, I noticed a hotel door propped open so anyone could walk in. The front doors were propped open too. A truck in the lot had its muffler system lying on the ground, though I'm not sure if someone was trying to steal it. I'll never return to this hotel.

The rooms are decent and the location is great, though the furniture could use an upgrade. The beds are super comfortable. But every time I come here, I have the same problem with the breakfast cook, and only him. He watches the guests the whole time, from making a plate to sitting down to eat. He acts like he's watching TV, but he's really standing there watching people. I got so uncomfortable that I snuck my food up to my room. You have to get to breakfast really early because he takes all the food home. Come too late and he'll laugh in your face and throw it in your face that you didn't wake up early enough. I'll find another hotel for my future visits to Shreveport.

We were told at check-in that breakfast would be available from 6 to 9, but when we arrived at 7:30 there was none left. We waited for more to be brought out, but it never came. When I complained, the man got angry instead of explaining. It was disrespectful, and the employees behaved horribly. The owners would be better off not offering breakfast at all. Don't visit this hotel, not even in passing.

My husband and I were given another guest's room key, which led to a whole confrontation with that guest. I can't blame him. Then we were moved to a raggedy room, as the pictures show. Between the poorly maintained rooms and rude customer service, the whole experience was awful, from the “hotel manager” to the front desk staff. This hotel should be ashamed. If corporate doesn't know what's going on at this property, they should investigate. Run far away and save yourself the headache!
