Euro Inn and Suites Slidell

We had no real complaints about the stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms looked newly renovated, and the price was good. I’d give the room a solid four stars: the hotel worked well for us and was much better than expected. Some residents were pretty loud, though that may not have been the hotel’s fault. I just wish the noise rules were stricter.

Parking right outside was convenient, and I felt safe here. The room was clean and so large it almost seemed sparse. It looked like the photos, and the water pressure was good. This didn’t feel like one of those motels where you’d rather skip a shower, lol. I’d stay again and recommend it. A clock in the room would help, since I kept checking my phone for the time.

The front desk told us to leave if we didn’t like it, and they wouldn’t do anything about the dirty bed. The manager wasn’t there to handle a refund, and there was no cleaning staff. After sitting down, we started itching right away. That night, on the same day we checked in, we pulled back the covers and found crumbs and hair all over the bed, including on the pillows. We were expected to sleep in a dirty room. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed, and I wasted money with no refund. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Do not stay here.

I’ve stayed at least 30 motels across the United States, and this is the cleanest budget one I’ve seen or smelled. Walking in, I noticed a clean-room scent, with none of that old, musty smell. I’m really impressed, and this isn’t a paid review.
