The outside of the Motel looked perfect, but the inside was the worst I’ve ever seen. The walls were painted white and looked hideous, and there were black specks in the bed. I slept in my truck the first night, then spent the second night fully dressed on top of the quilt. I’d guess the full-time guests in half the rooms are wards of the state. This has to be the worst motel in Deleware.

It wasn’t fancy, but it was very clean and affordable, with good parking and convenience stores, gas, the highway, and food nearby. We were traveling and needed somewhere to rest, so we woke the manager in the middle of the night. He was patient and accommodating, and let us check out a little later without charging extra since we’d arrived after 3am. It was exactly what we needed for a pit stop. Thanks to the manager for helping us get some sleep before the rest of our long journey.

The AC was coldddd, and the room was clean, simple, and no frills, just a bed, TV, and dresser. It was actually a great stay. Renting at the property was cheaper than booking on a website, and I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

I slept better than I have in a long time. As soon as I lay down, the pillows and blankets smelled fresh and clean, which was so welcoming. I’ll definitely visit again!
