Meeting Gideon, the service dog belonging to staff member Dustin, is what made my morning memorable. I’d woken up feeling down and missing home, my family, and my own dog. Being away from the people and comforts that ground you can hit harder than you expect. Then Gideon showed up, and the sadness seemed to melt away. You can see the love, devotion, and loyalty between him and Dustin. It’s a bond you can feel, and Gideon brought some warmth, peace, and a bit of home when I needed it. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, with spotless rooms and fresh common areas. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and made me feel like I mattered as a guest. I’m looking forward to coming back to the Holiday Inn Express in Somerset, Kentucky, and hope Gideon is still there. He made an already great stay unforgettable.

Justin, Gideon, and Natalie made our visit easy and memorable. We couldn’t figure out the TV, and one of the chairs wobbled. Justin came up, sorted out the TV, and brought a replacement chair without making it a hassle. Earlier, I was talking with him at the front desk when I noticed the cutest little black dog on his lap and completely forgot what I’d meant to ask. My daughters heard there was a dog behind the desk and wanted to meet him, so Justin kindly brought Gideon around. It made their day. The hotel was spotless, and breakfast was really good with plenty of choices. We’d definitely stay here again. Manager or owner, you’ve picked a great staff.

Dustin and Lynn are so nice and kind, and they always make me feel comfortable. Gideon, the local dog, is definitely the best there is. Amazing staff!

Our rooms were very clean, the hospitality was great, and there were fresh cookies when we arrived. Check-in was really nice too. Linn handled getting us a reservation over the phone and was so kind. She made our stay great!
