Knights Inn Atlanta Near Six Flags

There’s a renovation underway, but the outside looks moldy, and pressure washing won’t fix that. The hotel doesn’t seem secure, and some rooms are missing glass doors, so rain appears to get inside. I also suspect they’re working without permits. I have a construction background, looked it up, and found none. There are roaches here. Stay away.

I’m staying here with my son while I get things in order to move into my house, and we’ve had no problems. It feels comfortable and safe, and I haven’t seen bugs. They give me clean sheets, pillowcases, towels, and face towels when I ask. It’s an old historic building, so some issues are to be expected. The new owner is trying to turn things around despite the bad comments, and I’d stay here again if I needed to.

The Chinese restaurant across the street is great, but that’s about it. The halls are dirty, and the towels and sheets were stained. Our old room had lights that didn’t work and electrical sockets pulled out of the wall. The neighborhood felt bad, with prostitutes and drug dealers around the lobby and coming in and out. I think $60 a night is too much. This place should be $30 at most. Don’t go.

I lasted about ten minutes before leaving for another hotel. When we checked in, a prostitute was leaving, and the front desk guy spoke to her like they were friends. Half the rooms were out of order and one elevator wasn’t working. Our room smelled awful, only one light worked, and there was pubic hair under the beds and on the bathroom towels. The air filters were filthy, the tub had dirt and paint splatters, and the sink wouldn’t drain. The pillows were stained, and I didn’t even want to check the bed. The balcony looked unsafe, and I was afraid to touch anything. There were about six cops outside when we left. Do not go here.
