Plaza Inn

I like this place because it feels safe at night, and there’s plenty of space for all of us.

There were people shooting outside. The parking was a long way from the room, and the towels were dirty.

The shower water was scalding, with no cold water, and the bed squeaked every time I moved. I don’t know what the base was made of, maybe a pile of rubber ducks. The room felt tiny for the price. Walking in through the front door, you’d basically trip right into the bed. There were no chairs or table, the TV remote changed channels but wouldn’t turn the volume down, and the parking spaces were small too.

If all you need is a bed for the night and can do without the usual extras, you’ll probably be fine here. They provide the basics: a bed, two pillows, a blanket, two towels, two cups, soap, two single-use shampoo packets, air conditioning, and parking. There’s no wardrobe or hangers, refrigerator, kettle, or coffee maker. Otherwise, I’d stay somewhere else.
