Red Oak Inn Detroit - Southfield

The bathroom was in bad shape, and there were stinkbugs and spiders in the room. The box spring looked awful when I checked between the bed, and the door had no seal, so bugs and air could get in. You have to get a refund within 15 minutes or you lose it. Honestly, I'd only use a room here for a couple hours of X-tivities, then leave. That's all it's worth.

This place has really gone downhill. I was given a room with no bathroom door, and while I was out, the weekend housekeeper went into my room. There are roaches, and the filters never get changed. I can't believe it hasn't been shut down. Horrible place to stay.

I stayed in 317 while waiting for my rental to be ready. The room was filthy, with stains and hair everywhere on the walls, floors, tub, toilet, and sink. The tub and shower curtain were covered in grime, the toilet was foul, and the microwave was broken and nearly exploded, like there was an electrical problem. I was charged $80 for a single room, even though they told me $59.99 on the phone. They don't give refunds, so I'm calling the health department. I'm disgusted. The front desk woman also gave my personal information to someone who lives there. That was unprofessional and made me feel unsafe. This place needs to be shut down.

The lot had abandoned cars, and the property looked worn out and dusty. The walls and bed were disgusting, and the sheets looked old. It was clear to me they don't take care of the place. It looked like the projects. Shut it down, it makes Southfield look bad.
